I have taught in a variety of school settings and I believe that children deserve to learn in environments that encourage creativity and exploration. My goal is to cultivate an atmosphere where every child feels empowered to express themselves, learn new skills, and develop a sense of belonging.

I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from East Tennessee State University. My Master’s thesis focused on emergent curriculum and inquiry-based learning, theories of constructivism, and student collaboration. Grounded in the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, my educational philosophy is informed by a deep commitment to creating a collaborative and engaging environment where children can explore, discover, and grow together. 

I believe that play is the cornerstone of learning, and I take pride in guiding children through social interactions and teaching them how to navigate conflicts, share, and appreciate the value of teamwork. Whether it's playing outdoors, appreciating the wonders of nature, or embarking on creative projects, I strive to create memorable experiences for children that spark curiosity and discovery.

I am inspired by the unique interests and personalities of each child. I want all students to feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued as capable individuals with amazing talents and ideas.

My husband and I love living in New Hampshire! We enjoy spending time outdoors with our children and grandchildren.
